Tom Chamberlin Launches The Luxury Dispatch

The Rake’s editor-in-chief, Tom Chamberlin, announces The Luxury Dispatch, a new show curating timely reports on the refined, the rare, and the relentlessly well-made. The editorialised podcast explores craftsmanship, heritage, and the hidden details that define true luxury, with weekly episodes that bring together global tastemakers to ask, “what is luxury?”

Tom Chamberlin is an editor, author and “accidental” social-media sensation, whose career has been anchored in exploring style, culture and craftsmanship across British and international media. Now, he is partnering with award-winning production company Platform Media to launch The Luxury Dispatch. This carefully curated audio-video offering delivers a topic-by-topic exploration of everything from iconic watches and rare cigars, to cocktail mastery, design, and a rare look inside the exclusive clubs of St. James’s. With expert knowledge, hearty conversation and a good dose of history, each episode invites listeners to feel informed and charmed by the ritual of luxury.

Launch episodes will cover modern indulgences including the craft of cocktails with Hollywood director Paul Feig and historian, Nick Foulkes, the elegance of cricket and classic tailoring with Rafe Spall, motoring with Simon de Burton a Christmas gift guide with English former Rugby Union players Mike Tindall and James Haskell, and a sweeping look at Giorgio Armani’s life, legacy and cinematic influence with Peter Howarth and Hani Farsi.
